New Directions has four interdisciplinary professional learning communities (PLC’s) currently developing cross content curriculum and activities to improve student literacy and language acquisition.
Each PLC is comprised of core, elective, and specialty teachers working together to develop engaging activities, projects, and vehicles to not only enrich instruction, but honor student growth and achievement throughout the process.
Check back often as a synopsis of each PLC team’s plan will be posted along with the activities and subsequent accomplishments student make during each phase of the plan.
